50 Cows and 35 Weaners / Calves

Description

Approximately 50 Cows and  35 Calves for sale 26 km South East of Mckinlay. The cows are predominantly all #0’s and #1’s however there is 5 older cows up to 10 years old. They are mainly grey Brahman cows with a few mixed colours and breeds amongst them. These cows were purchased from Hobs Family at Ingham in 2020, and are good quality cows that look to range in weight from 350kg for the poorer wet cows up to 500 kg for the few fat dry cows. I guess they would average around 420-440kg. The cows have been returned to  Angus and Droughtmaster bulls up until 6 weeks ago and have just had Droughtmaster bulls joined to them since then.

The calves are mostly all Brangus however I did see a few Droughtmaster and 1 Brahman Cross in the mob. The lead 25 calves were branded in June and I estimate they would be up to 250kg and could all be weaned now. There is approximately another 10-15 unbranded calves from fresh born up to 5 months. Overall  I estimate they would average 125-135kg

Vendor is putting them together over the next week so will have better numbers then but expects to have  3 decks for sale. Please note the 30 odd grey Brahman Steers in photos are not in this sale but could be included to make up 4 decks if buyer requires.
