Assessor Comments:
A good opportunity to secure some young quality breeders. The majority of these breeders are all of the vendors 2022 drop heifers that have been kept for the breeder program and a small number of 2021 cows. calves are of very good quality and will suit a wide array of southern markets.
They have always been highly regarded throughout the production chain from start to finish performing in the paddock, feedlot and on the hook (vendors producing competition winners for the northern beef producers expo feedlot competition). The 1st calf heifers are in a store to strong store condition and are currently doing an exceptional job on the calves. I believe these cows, given the opportunity will continue growing into good medium to large frame cows based on the vendors existing breeders while producing very desirable progeny for years to come.
