108 VGQ Vendor Bred Santa/Droughtmaster Cross Weaner Heifers. They weighed 250 – 345 kg to average 278.2 kg after 14 hours off feed & water. They are from a very highly regarded herd of Large Frame Santa & Droughtmaster Cross Cows by VGQ Santa & Droughtmaster Bulls. They are well suited to retain as Breeders with vendors only keeping their top 25% from these Heifers. They have been yard weaned over the past 6 weeks & have been fed a hay/molasses ration in troughs so are bunk trained & they will perform in a feedlot. There are 44 x Santa, 30 x Santa/Droughtmaster Cross, 32 x Droughtmaster Cross, 1 x Santa/Brahman Cross & 1 x Charbray/Santa Cross. There is 1 x Heifer with a twisted nose, 4 x Heifers with mild Fly bite & 1 x Heifer with Flybite marks. There are approx 10% of the heifers with weeping eyes that were treated with Terymicen spray at assessment. Offered on a first in first served basis & will need to be picked up by this Thursday or Friday.
