132 VGQ Vendor Bred Santa/Droughtmaster Cross Weaner Heifers. They weighed 157 – 257 kg to average 217.3 kg after 14 hours off feed & water. They are from a very highly regarded herd of Large Frame Santa & Droughtmaster Cross Cows by VGQ Santa & Droughtmaster Bulls. They are well suited to retain as Breeders with vendors only keeping their top 25% from these Heifers. They have been yard weaned over the past 6 weeks & have been fed a hay/molasses ration in troughs so are bunk trained & they will perform in a feedlot. There are 55 x Santa, 44 x Santa/Droughtmaster Cross, 28 x Droughtmaster Cross, 4 x Santa/Brahman Cross & 1 x Charbray/Droughtmaster Cross. There are 2 x Brindle Heifers, 1 x Heifer with mild Fly bite & 1 x Heifer with an injection lump. There are approx 10% of the heifers with weeping eyes that were treated with Terymicen spray at assessment. Offered on a first in first served basis & will need to be picked up by this Thursday or Friday.
